As Chief Operating Officer and Vice President, Eric L. Blackmon leads and has oversight responsibilities for AQIWO’s corporate functions/operations, business development, service/product delivery, and personnel development activities. Eric has over 27 years of successful managerial leadership experience with the proven ability to develop, communicate, and execute business strategies. He is a creative and innovative person whose broad range of experience includes senior management, program/project management, executive decision-making, operations, strategic planning, procurement/acquisition, personnel development, and speechwriting.
Before joining AQIWO, Eric served as the Director of Business Development at USfalcon Inc., where he was responsible for new business growth in the Department of Defense sector, specifically the Air Force and Joint, Combatant Commands (COCOMs). Previous to USfalcon, Eric served in leadership roles as Senior Director or Director at several IT consulting firms, including Keane Federal Systems Inc., Citizant Inc., and Advanced Management Technology Inc., where he consistently met or exceeded operational and business development job responsibilities.
Eric is a retired Air Force Officer who demonstrated professional excellence in various flying and non-flying assignments of increasing responsibility and complexity throughout his distinguished, 20-year Air Force career. Prior to the Air Force and before attending college, Eric served three years in the United States Army. Eric is a Project Management Professional (PMP), earning his certifcation from the Project Management Institute. Many years before becoming a PMP, Eric earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland and a Master's degree from Ball State University.
